आरोग्य विभागातील भरतीसंबंधी बातमी खूप प्रसिद्ध झाली होती. २० महिन्यांपासून पहिल्या आठ महिन्यांमध्ये अस्थायीत रद्द केलेल्या परीक्षेमुळे राज्यभरातील ८ लाखांपेक्षा जास्त विद्यार्थ्यांनी चिंतेत आहेत. या परीक्षेला संबंधित विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये असलेली नाराजी आरोग्यमंत्र्यांना त्यांच्या विचारांच्या विषयी आढावा दिलेली आहे. याबाबत आरोग्यमंत्री तानाजी सावंत यांनी त्वरित कारवाई करण्याची आशा व्यक्त केली आहे.
या भरतीसाठी अर्ज केलेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी पुन्हा अर्ज करण्याची आवश्यकता नाही, परंतु पुर्वीचे अर्ज न केलेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी पुन्हा अर्ज करण्याची मुभा दिली जाईलेली आहे.आरोग्य विभागाच्या गट ‘क’ मधील जागा २७३९ आहेत आणि गट ‘ड’ मधील जागा ३४६६ आहेत. एकूण जागा ६२०५ आहेत ज्यांच्या विरुद्ध अर्ज दाखल केले गेले आहेत. विद्यार्थ्यांची संख्या ८ लाख.
