जिल्हा परिषदेच्या (ZP Nagpur) विविध विभागात 800 पेक्षा जास्त अधिक पदे रिक्त आहेत. रिक्त पदांचा कार्यभार अन्य कर्मचाऱ्यांकडे सोपविल्याने कामाचा अतिरिक्त ताण पडत आहे. काम वाढल्यामुळे अधिकारी आणि कर्मचाऱ्यांची फजीती होत असल्याच दिसून येत आहे. एकाच कर्मचाऱ्याला वेगवेगळ्या विभागाचे काम पाहावे लागते, अश्यात कर्मचारी कार्यालयात आलेल्या लोकांवर आपला कामाचा वाढलेला ताण काढतो. २०१६ नंतर जिल्हा परिषदेत भरती प्रक्रिया झाली नाही. सरकारने रिक्त पदे भरण्याचे अध्यादेश जारी केल्यानंतर अलीकडेच भरती प्रक्रियेच्या हालचाली सुरू झाल्या आहेत.
